ID Card Photo Submission Application
If you are a new incoming Medical Academy student you should use Medical Academy’s ID Card Photo Submission Application to submit your photo which will be printed on your official ID card. If you have a current ID and required you to have an updated photo taken, you can choose to submit a new photo using this application.
If a suitable photo is successfully submitted, your ID card will be printed and waiting for you. The school will inform you when and where to pick up your card. To submit your photo, please follow these instructions:
1.) Have your picture taken. Have someone take a digital color photo of you that would be appropriate for official identification. It is important that the background is white and has no texture. The photo needs good lighting without shadows. It should be a front view of your full face (filling at least 80% of the frame) centered in the frame from just above the top of your head to your collarbone. Your eyes need to be open and visible and if you wear eyeglasses there cannot be any glare. The file format must be .jpg and cannot exceed 2MB. The size of the photo must be 280 pixels by 296 pixels. If adjustments are needed for your photo, you need to use a photo editing software. If you don't have one; pixenate.com is a free on-line photo editing software which you can use without downloading.
2.) Upload your photo. The next step is to fill out the ID Application and browse your files until you find a photo that meets the ID card requirements and click "Submit".
3.) Your photo will be reviewed. When your photo has successfully been submitted it will be reviewed. We will e-mail you within two weeks to let you know whether or not your photo has been approved to be printed. If Approved, we will print your ID card using this photo and notify you when you may pick it up. If Rejected, we will e-mail you with the reasons your photo cannot be used for your Medical Academy ID card and you will be asked to resubmit another photo.
